Event Planning Guide: Handling Event Sizes – From Ten People to a Hundred
There is an especially great difference between an event for ten and an event for a hundred. Handling event sizes will be especially important for these types of events. It is easier to plan for ten people. However, there are all sorts of important things to use for preparing for a hundred people.
First, it should be noted that a smaller event will not require as many details as that of other sizes. An event for ten can be planned in a casual manner in that the people at an event like this can be with people who are specifically close to the planner. Since only a couple of people will be attending the party it is okay if the planner is not perfect and that any slight details are forgotten. This will not be the case for larger parties though, as it will be important to keep all details to work properly for larger parties and groups.
It also helps to know about the versatility of event planning as well. In many cases smaller parties can be handled to the point where it will be easier to reschedule in the event of any concerns. For a larger party like an event for a hundred those options will be significantly limited. For instance, for a larger party it is not going to be very easy to go and change plans on a whim. Also, the selection of things that are to be featured at a party will be significantly higher for larger events, so it is important to look into having multiple options for foods, entertainment and other features when there is a larger group of people at the event.
The seating will be especially different based on the size of the party. It is generally easier to plan for larger events in terms of seating in that the people will be able to be placed in areas of the event space that they will feel especially comfortable with.
The budget of the event is another factor. When the event is smaller the budget will be significantly smaller. However, spending has more freedom with smaller events. Larger events will be tougher though because of the mass number of people that will be attending the event. Of course, for larger parties supplies and other things can be saved on because they can be purchased in bulk quantities.
Handling event sizes is important to consider for planning for an event. An event for ten will be able to have a smaller budget and details will not be as important, and the event planning process can be versatile. For an event for a hundred or more people the budget will be higher but savings on bulk purchases can be made. Also, an event for more people will be needed for a more secure setup.
